You’re right, Home Sharing is very hit or miss nowadays, for some reason.
Usual troubleshooting procedure applies: restart stuff ’til it works. Better if you can get that stuff over to a wired network. Yes. Apple’s management does seem blissfully unaware of the effects its software quality is having on its reputation nowadays, doesn’t it?
