Hi, Coincidentally, it’s been a while since I’ve actually seen that particular issue of passwords being read backwards. Also, nothing “just works.” It’d be nice to think that it does, but I yet have to see that.
Unfortunately, when editing password fields it’s difficult to tell where the cursor actually is, since VoiceOver reads everything every time you move to another character. I know they’re aware of it, though, since I did report that. They’re usually good about fixing issues, but this one is taking a little while, so I can only assume they’re having a hard time fixing it or just haven’t gotten to it yet. Saying that, rich icons or not doesn’t seem to matter in my case. I just tried disabling them, and everything looks the same.
