I keep seeing that as the common suggestion, but I've never used it and have no idea how accessible it is. It's in the Terminal, but VO has a less-than-great track record where the Terminal is concerned. Plus, Emacs is monstrously confusing if you've never used it before--I tried it once and was completely lost.
