Another thing you should know… According to discussions on the WEB AIM mailing list, Macintosh generated PDF’s do not include TAGS, which are essential for proper reading of the alternative text in graphics and various other structures.
While Preview on the Macintosh also does not interpret PDF tags, for full understanding by the entire user community of a complex document, you should be using PDF-UA which is an international standard.
