Hi list,

I keep seeing threads about how to quickly access the latest message of a
contact in the chat frame, and i myself would like to shorten the lengthy
process, as we all know, sifting through myriads of vo right and interact
commands before getting to the beef.

I just started doing some applescripts first for the dj software *later on
that*, and was intrigued when i looked over the skype suite, It has a single
command which is in the skype specific commands, but it is apparently very
powerful, as it allows you to access the whole skype API protocol.

In short, it means that any Framework commands can be recognized by the send
command, and all UI elements, after prior documentation, can be called,
accessed, edited, etc.

This seems like a worthy little project, and i was wondering if any script
heads would like to review the possibility of sending this single command, in
laymen here goes:

to tell skype to get to the window at the front, and navigate automatically to
the latest message, and read it. Then all you have to do is reply by hitting
the tab key.

This would be good, to solve once and for all the whole navigation question,
and give Jaws some sweat to shed.

What do you think?

Best
