I have a MBP15 running Leopard. It came with Vista on a Bootcamp partition, which I saved to an external hard drive as a DMG and subsequently erased. I want to put that DMG back onto my internal HD, on its own Bootcamp partition which I have created. The reason I want this DMG so much is that it has Jaws already set up and working, as well as Open Book. However, none of the methods I've tried will allow me to put the 27,000 or so files back onto this empty 32G partition. Instead, they all go into an "untitled," folder, so they're not on the root, but one layer deep.
Is there a way I can remove them from the "untitled," folder and place these 27,000 or so files directly onto the partition, so that I can boot from them? If not, how do I restore this DMG to a Bootcamp partition so that I can boot from it? Thanks for all suggestions, as this problem is frustrating hell outta me. Hope you guys are having a good weekend. :) Mark BurningHawk Baxter Skype and Twitter: BurningHawk1969 MSN: [email protected] My home page: http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
