See this archived post: http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries%40googlegroups.com/msg11128.html (Re: Listening to Audible dot com samples) Audible.com uses flash players for the samples, so the only way I can get to the place to "click" to start playing the sample is by turning on Mouse Keys under the Universal Access menu and moving my cursor to the right of the word "Sample" until a trackpad click starts the sample playing. Depending on the layout of the page you're on, this is usually around 50-60 key presses to the right of the "Sample" at present (for my MacBook screen). If the numbers that I gave in the archived post aren't working for you, try moving right in groups of 10 key presses and checking whether a "click" starts/stops the sample play. Once you calibrate this for one page, the same number of key presses should work for other similar pages. However, the exact number of key presses may differ when you're examining a page of search results compared to the individual page for a particular book, where you may find you need to use slightly more key presses to read the flash player. Detailed instructions are in the linked archived post. Let us know if the instructions there no longer work.
