Thanks… Looks involved, but I’ll give it a go!

Subject: Re: Mail Signatures

You actually have to drag the signature or signatures from the right panel into
the Email account you want them active on.

This is a bit difficult because if you have cursor tracking on, then when you
move to the mail account on the left it selects that account and thereby
unselecting all the signatures you had selected.

My process for this is a bit cumbersome, and if I could figure out how to do
drag and drop with hot spots it would be much nicer.

1. In Mail preferences find the mail account you want to add signatures to.

2. create a hot spot for this folder.

3. select all accounts item in this list.

4. use vo-j to jump to the list of signatures.

5. turn off voice over tracking vo-shift-F3

6. use vo-return and vo-command to select signatures.

7. useVO-comma to start a drag operation.

8. jump to the hot spot you added earlier.

9. use vo-period to process the drag and drop.

10. turn vo tracking back on with vo-shift-F3

Hopefully I got all those steps correct.

Other options

have a sighted person just drag the items for you or create a text expansion.

Best wishes,

Jonathan

That is what's strange. The signature text is there. Everything looks as it
should, but there's no option to select it in the pop up button when you go to
compose a new message.

Hello Kat,

To check that your signatures have been assigned properly, open Mail
Preferences and go to the Signatures pane. Select an account in the lefthand
table and navigate right to the list of signatures for that account. If there
is nothing there, no signature has been assigned to that account.

Cheers,

Anne

I've created a signature under All Signatures. I've created ones for my
individual accounts. But when I compose a new message, the only options in the
popup for selecting a signature are "none" and "edit signatures." What step am
I missing?
Thanks!
