Not to worry, I actidentally did that with my Moto Q9c a long time ago, only
it was plugged in, on my dresser, and before I knew it, I’d bumped the cord
without realizing it, then heard this loud splash, and found it about 2
seconds later, cord still attached, in the dog bowl.
So I pulled out, took the battery out according to an article someone sent
me, and dried it and the inside of the phone with the hair drier, but that
didn’t do any good; it somewhat worked, but it was like it was having
seizures. It would just randomly press keys on its own, and just wouldn’t
act right, so I had to replace it, and found a new place to put the charger.
