Hi,

The subject line pretty much says it all. I would like to enable AirDrop on my
Mac so that I can quickly share files between my iPhone and my Mac. On the Mac
side of things, I turned on BlueTooth. I also went into the preferences and
checked anything I could find that made reference to AirDrop.

Then, when I attempted to share a file on my iPhone using AirDrop, the iPhone
said that there were no devices in range with AirDrop. Since I was told that
AirDrop was enabled through Finder, I went through the Finder menus again, but
I didn’t encounter any AirDrop commands. Finally, I went to the Finder toolbar
and didn’t find anything that turned on AirDrop there, either. I think I may
be missing the obvious somewhere, but I don’t know what the obvious is!

Can someone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
