That never happened to me with Sonar, if that's what you're referring to. I can at least get the live DVD to boot up in Fusion in general, with sound.

Anyway, if this isn't directly related to how to make Fusion allow for the installation, then it probably is off topic for here, so anything past that point, let's take it up either off list, or carry it over to either the Sonar list, or the Orca list.

There are live DVDs that boot without virtual sound hardware muted? Really? I had to go in and manually set up parameters with alsamixer to get the sound output to work at all, as it defaults to silent, rather stupidly.
