Hi,
iCloud E-Mail, does, in fact, work with Thunderbird. I don’t remember
right off hand where you go to add new accounts, but I do remember
that you have to select I think it’s “Other” from the list of E-Mail
accounts you can set up. Then, you type in your full E-Mail address,
your name, and password, and all that, click “Next I think it is, and
it should automatically configure itself and you should just have to
click I think it’s “Done” or “Finish” and it should work.
I hope this helps,
Jeffrey

Hi all,
I figured that this message would be considered on topic, as it
relates to Apple's services. I'm becoming a huge fan of Mozilla's
Thunderbird email client, which is so much more than that!
My problem is that I don't seem to find a way to connect my iCloud
address to Thunderbird. Then I hear about this article which
indicates that two-step verification may be needed to use iCloud
email. I asked the question about two-step verification earlier for
this very reason. What do you recommend for this?
Thanks,
Ben
