So I’m not sure what country you’re in or store options you have, Best Buy in the US is running laptop deals right now and I think it’s $100 or more off Apple Laptops.
That aside, with your requirement I’d probably go with an Apple Macbook pro and
you could go with a 13 inch model to save on the cost if you wanted. There are
both i5 and i7 options for processors so you could spend as much as you wanted
there, memory options and all SSD. The air is a bit less expensive but when in
best buy the other day they had an air and a pro at the exact same price so
with all things equal I’d go with a pro model.
I would also budget $100 or so for VMWare fusion for running that
windows instance on top of OS X. It’s in my mind preferable to boot camp since
you have both options at the same time, others may disagree.
That’s my suggestion.
