I'm curious what's changed? I've not noticed much of anything different.

+1, iTunes is fine for me on the Mac. Interfaces change and you have to get
used to them. Probably makes sense to the sited but there you go.

    Hi,

Yes, quite a bit different interface, but that was outlined in the update
info for iTunes in Software Update. These changes to the interface often cause
grief for both sighted and non-sighted folks. I can't comment on the iTunes in
Windows experience, but the Mac is fine accessibility-wise.

No, I'm talking about on the mac. I know it's broken on Windows,
apparently. Even Brian Hartgen confirmed this on Twitter this morning, and
yes, I did test, and it was confirmed. And no. Brian's not the guy I'm
initially referring to. I'll at least give you that much.

Yeah, this other person I speak initially of clames that he/she hears
it's broken both on Windows, as well as on the mac.

So, yeah, I'm heartened to hear that it's not me missing something. I
told them I don't really ever use ITunes on the Windows side, as I find it way
to clunky over there, regardless the screen reader. I mean, it's doable...
well... let me rephrase. It *was!* doable prior to 12.4, but it was a pain in
the kneck, in my opinion. I don't seem to be having any issues with 12.4 on
the mac though, so, thanks for the clarification.

Chris, the Mac side is not broken but the window side apparently is
broken are you testing with the Windows side? If you are, then you will
probably need to go over to the Jaws users group and enjoy name on the thread
on there as well. because I having getting post over there about it being
broken.

OK, I didn't want to hijack Larry's thread regarding podcasts just to
ask this question. that wouldn't have been appropriate, so I'm therefore
asking in a separate thread.

There is a friend I know on Twitter. I'm not going to reveal his or
her name, nor if they are on this list or not. I believe in respecting their
privacy whole heartedly. What I do wonder though is this. They are claming
that they've heard that the latest ITunes 12.4 has broken accessibility
terribly, if not entirely. I just fired up the new update, and all looks quite
usable over here. This person does have a tendency to always get very wrong
information fed to him/her, and sometimes, though I'm not saying it's the case
this time, has overexagerated things quite severely at times.

So, I'm just wanting to get some clarification. It's definitely
possible that I've just not hit the problems yet that are occuring in ITunes
12.4, and if that be the case, I apologize. I however am a high intermediate
to very low advanced user of ITunes, so, I'd think by now, if there were an
issue, I probably most likely would have seen it.

So, yeah, if there are true issues, and I don't just mean people
thinking there are issues because they don't know how to do something. I mean,
if there truly are! indeed some issues, then please do tell me what they are.

This is on OSX El Capitan, the latest build which just came out of
10.11.5.

The only thing maybe I can guess is, I think this person might still
be using Yosemite. I'm not sure if that would matter. I'd not think so though.

          Chris.
