Simon, hello. 

Was considering using it as a writing tool via way of the smart keyboard. 

I’ve just thus listened to an audio demonstration by David Woodbridge and said 
keyboard sounds awful. 

No dedicated Mac keys like CMD etc. 

Most likely will go with a nice keyboard case to compliment the Air 2.
