I seem to recall somebody out there on this list wanted a good or at least
decent video editor. Well, I think I may have found it at last. Screen Flow.
That’s the one that Chris uses do do his youtube videos. Chris was more right
than he knew!!! I mean totally right!!! I have already edited a screen
recording, actually imported a video in to Screen Flow and cut pieces out and
so forth. In short, sure looks like for $99.99 or so, it’s gonna be a sweet
app for sure!!! I was pretty much right about using the in and out markers.
you can press the play button with the space bar and J moves you back and L
moves you forward. The more you press J or L, the faster you move forward or
backward. This you can control by the zoom in and zoom out buttons on either
side of the time line. When you reach very close to the point you want to do
something, pause the playback using K and then, use the right and left arrow
keys alone for really super fine adjustment. When you get to the exact point
you want to drop the in marker, stop moving the curser and press the I key.
Now, navigate in the same way to where you want to drop the out marker. Now,
press the O key. Now, if you press Command+delete, this will cause a wripple
delete which will delete only the section you’ve marked off. Play it back and
you will find the unwanted portion gone. Now, if you want to select back to
the beginning of a video for trimming, just set the out marker and the in
marker will automatically be pushed right to the beginning. Want to trim to
the end, set an in marker instead and everything to the right of it is gone.

Cutting and pasting work very much the same way.

Only thing I haven’t figured out is how to type in to a text box. Adding one
is easy enough, but, finding and clicking on it to type in to it seems not to
be possible: or else, I just haven’t worked out how to do this yet.

Just wanted to tel you that I firmly believe that Chris and I and I believe one
other person on here have found a video editor almost equal at least to amadeus
Pro. Well, Okay, that may be pushing it just a wee bit: but, with Screen
Flow, the blind Mac user can no longer legitimately claim that there is no
video editor he can accessibly use and learn fairly quickly!!!!!!!!!
Sent from my Mac, The only computer with full accessibility for the blind
built-in

Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray
Still a very happy Mac, Verizon Wireless iPhone6+ and Apple TV user!!!!!
