Recording tends to pull rather hard on my GPU so I record using Amadeus Pro instead; but, recording with Sound Forge for the Mac certainly can be done. Forget using L an k though because they don’t move you through the file. IF you want to do that, you use the rewind and fast forward hot keys. Also, you can use the I key to set the in marker and O to set the out marker and that will work just fine.
