Hi,

Do you have either Apple Music or iTunes Match? If so, if you have multiple
devices accessing your Library, and if something got fouled up during sync, you
may get this sort of behaviour. Normally, I'd assume that the playlist without
the numeral at the end is the original one you prefer, so just delete/remove
the extra playlists. When things sync again, it should clear up.

Later...

Hi all,

I’m having playlists automatically duplicating themselves, or near duplicates.
I don’t know how this got started or how to stop it. It’s weird. Let’s say I
have a playlist called Piano Faves. Well, now it says Piano Faves then Piano
Faves1 just below that. I have 3 or 4 playlists that are doing this.

I’m trying to go through them to see if they are identical, but they don’t seem
to be. The playlist1 is missing a song or two.

What do y’all think?

Thanks,
Traci
