Hi,

Not a dumb question at all. It sounds like your Mac isn't seeing the
headphones for some reason. You are using the correct process. Make sure that
the headphones are properly powered up, maybe turn them off, wait a few
seconds, then turn them back on. If you have a sighted person around, have
them confirm that the headphones actually do power on. Once they are for sure
powered on, they should show up in the Bluetooth system Pref. in some cases,
it takes 10 or so seconds before they show up, and in some cases, you may need
to close system Prefs, then re-open them so that it re-polls looking for
devices.

HTH.

Hi, This is probably a dumb question and has been answered before, but here
goes… I just bought a bluetooth stereo headset to use with my mac and iphone.
How do I pair it with my mac? I went into bluetooth under system prefs, and I
see two devices besides my iphone. The only button after these devices is
remove and if I hit the context menu on the device I only get remove, rename
and show address. So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Jeff
