Hello Everyone,

I am cross-posting this.

Well, I have a couple of things to report along with a recommendation of a
fabulous free app that is designed to do one thing and to do it well; you
guessed it, to follow Twitter hash tags.

First, however, after reading Jonathan's reply, I discovered how to save a
search in Twitterific. This is a very nice feature of the app.

Second, subsequently, after returning to the native Twitter app, I
discovered that the app, itself, appears to save recent searches. And
although I could see and activate the saved search, I created from within
Twitterific, the native Twitter app does not appear to allow one to actually
save searches. Interesting, eh?

Finally, upon doing an app store search from my iPhone, in the US store, I
came across a free app called Tag Stalker.

I am delighted to report that this app is VoiceOver accessible, complete
with push notification options.

This app is remarkably simple with only five things that VoiceOver users
should keep in mind:
1.
There is an advertisement banner across the top that reads as a long string
of numbers. Just ignore this line as it will not be read unless you touch
it.

2.
It is not necessary to type in the hash tag symbol.

3.
The search results list of hash tags is auto-populating. This is to say, as
you type, a list of already-in-use hash tags will appear just below the edit
field. Simply find the one you seek and single-finger, double-tap to
activate the search.

4.
There are only two tabs, located on the bottom row of the app. The tab on
the left is Favorites and the tab on the right is Search. When you first
open the app, the Favorites list will be displayed. If you have not yet
saved any Favorites, the area will be empty. This can be a little confusing
to a VoiceOver user. Simply activate the Search tab and begin exploring.

5.
In the upper right corner of the search results list is the button that
allows you to save the search to your Favorites area; as far as I can tell,
this is the only un / mislabeled button in the app. That's pretty much all
there is to the app.

If you find Tag Stalker as useful as I, please write a review in the app
store being certain to comment on VoiceOver accessibility.

Happy Twitter hash tag surfing to us all.

Mark
