Hello Michael and thank you. Actually, I am trying to delete a partition from within a full up-and-running session of El Capitan. The El Capitan version of Disk Utility is very different from the Yosemite version.
As a result, I do not find it intuitive, in the slightest. As I said, I cannot seem to delete the single partition on the disk.
