So I’m running the public beta to be clear but I did run that version with no
problems.  I get an occasional voice over reset but not a reboot.  Before you
downgrade I would highly suggest installing a clean copy of the latest OS.
When you upgrade you frequently get issues that a clean install addresses.

Good luck

Thanks both for the reply.
I never seen this before either.
It started happening only a few weeks ago, and I can see the early core audio
crash reports go back to June 5. Probably that's when I updated to the latest
OSX.
I guess it's time to go back down.

I definitely have not seen this, and try as I may, I cannot reproduce that

Subject: Voiceover Crashing My Mac

Hi

I run OSX 10.115 on iMac 5k 27 inch late 2015.
I'm having a problem Voiceover crashing my computer. I use just Alex voice.
Screen just goes black and reboots.
If someone does the exactly same task without Voiceover, it doesn't happen.
For example, adding input files in xcode project > build phases > Run Script.
Also it doesn't happens 100% all the time.
Looking at /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports, there are bunch of coreaudiod and a
couple of kernel files.
Inside ~/Library/logs/DiagnosticReports, there are bunch of xcode and voiceover
files.
Based on the files, it might have to do with sound device, but I just use
system built-in output.
I never had this problem before. Maybe it's the latest OSX update. It reminds
me Windows. I'm not impressed with Apple lately.
Does anyone have a problem where Voiceover just stops talking, and the computer
reboots?
Thanks,
