Guys,

In light of us recently talking about becoming a cord cutter with things like
Netflix, having an Apple TV 4, etc, I must ask:

With Time Warner, There are a few shows I like to watch, some of which I can
get for a purchase through ITunes, and some I can't seem to find there nor
anywhere else.

I would love to become a cord cutter, and so would my mom, and go Apple TV all
the way exclusively. The problem however is, I can't cancel my cable TV unless
I know that there are ways I can get these shows I normally watch through my
Apple TV.

I tried the Sling TV app on the Apple TV, but it's not very accessible at this
point. BTW, Time Warner doesn't have an Apple TV app, and their IPad/IPhone
app is a worthless piece of shit! Pardon the language. I called them, and they
absolutely are refusing! to do anything to make it more accessible. Plus,
they're flat out refusing to adhere to the new law which went in effect this
month where all cable providers, if I understand correctly, *MUST!* have
talking digital boxes, like comcast does.

Here is a list of the shows, Dr. Phil being one of the main ones, which I
really need to be able to access. I don't usually have the money it would take
to keep buying these shows on ITunes or wherever else. I would rather just get
them through a subscription. BTW, as far as I can tell, neither Netflix nor
Hulu have all of these shows. I'd be willing to use multiple
app/subscriptions, but I just need the assurance I could get all of these with
absolutely no exception. Right now, I just record them in DVR, but
accessibility wise, even that's! somewhat problematic.

  a.. Dr. Phil
  b.. Forensic Files
  c.. Cops
d.. Trauma, life in the E.R
  e.. The Critical Hour
  f.. Parametics
g.. Untold Stories of the E.R
h.. Sex Sent me to the E.R
  i.. Mystory Diagnosis
  j.. Dr. G, Medical Examiner
k.. Not required, but preferably, reruns of Full House
l.. Not required, but preferably reruns of Family Matters
m.. Not required, but preferably reruns of Rescue 9 1 1.

That pretty much would do it.

Again, the absolute main one if you don't suggest anything for any of these
titles, at the very very very least, please try helping me find a way to get my
Dr. Phil. I can't be without that show! I'm a sold die hard fanatic. So much
so, if i ever get a chance to be in the L.A area, you're darn straight I'm
gonna try to go be in the audiance. Darn straight! I'd kill! to have that
experience!

Anyway, any suggestions? Especially with that show?

Chris.
