Hi, I don't see why not. My father uses my Apple ID on his Apple TV so that he has access to stream all the content I have available in iCloud. He doesn't have access to purchase on the Apple TV, but has access to all my content. Other things like Netflix etc, as long as you use the same login credentials, it should be fine.
