Jonathan, As has been stated, the native Apple Wallet app is extremely limited in its third-party reward card options.
Stocard allows one to digitize virtually any rewards card so that one does not have to search around, at the checkout stand, for the correct card. In the past, even when I had reward cards, I had to depend on a sighted person to select the correct card for me at checkout. These cards can really save you money, at times. I am particularly fond of my Best Buy rewards card which, until Stocard, had no digital equivalent that was accessible via VoiceOver. The best part, for me at least, is that Stocard allows you to actually create Apple Wallet passes for many popular cards. As we move forward, many apps, such as CVS pharmacy, are implementing their respective reward cards in their apps but I find this not so nearly convenient as having all of the cards in one place. I use my Library card, often, for instance; this is only digitally available in Stocard. It's a matter of personal preference but if you can save 1 or 2 dollars here and there, why not? Mark, I do not have enough reward cards to make this worthwhile, but I thought the Wallet app that is part of IOS 9 obsoleted all of the reward card apps. Can you give a brief explanation of the advantages of this app over the builtin version? Thanks, Jonathan > On Aug 14, 2016, at 1:35 AM, M.
