I don’t know if I read it somewhere or just assumed it should be possible.  
Overall Voiceover support in the Notes app seems half baked, but it still makes 
a handy place to keep and organize stuff especially if I want it on the phone 
too.

Thanks for the instructions,  I was able to move items with cursor tracking 
turned off, though on my system it turned out to be under VO-shift-f3.  Don’t 
know if having a Mini with a Windows keyboard attached accounts for the 
difference.  Pointing it out for the benefit of onlookers.
