Hello Chris. I assume you are writing Grade 2 American Braille and not UEB?
Well although I’m not an American Braille user but am of UEB, but know how American Braille works for your situation, I will confirm the following to you. You had the answers right but you do indeed put Letter Sign first and then dot six for the initial cap.
