Yes, the camera bulges are the problem.  I had this happen to me when migrating 
from the 6 to the 6s+, I tried using a life proof from a 6s for a 6s+ and after 
a few days it separated and broke.

the 7+ is going to have 2 cameras as well so that should be a very different 
camera porting system for the cases.
