I think your mac application screams MacBook air to me. The pro is a real work course and has a lot of power you may not need. The 15 especially has a lot of horse power and is probably over kill. The air is super light, decently powered and has good performance for the money. It’s also not to heavy and is great to just keep handy for doing exactly what you mention. If your girl friend wants to run windows and other operating systems in parallel or do heavy computing then go Pro but if you want to stick to the list you posted then by all means go for the air. You can get a dual core I7 in the air and 512 MB of storage. That’s pretty good.
