Posting this here because it’s a trend Apple had the courage to start and it
looks like it may continue.
It’s important to say though it’s not my view that competing standards
should be used. I’d rather see Apple get over themselves and adopt a universal
digital audio standard or USB-C, something like that than have a format war.
Nobody wins when we have the battle of the ports but thankfully we’re dropping
this hundred year old technology so that’s good.
