I liked the older style remote as well but the new one is doable and grows on you. One thing that annoys me is I could be in say my set top box input for my cable provider and if I reach to grab another remote and my finger brushes the surface of the Apple TV remote it switches over automatically. I know that’s selectable under settings but I haven’t decided whether it’s more trouble than it’s worth. It’s nice to switch automatically but it’s not good to switch when your in the middle of something else. Probably will disable this. Cool that HDMI control messages are generated now though.
