Hi, I had this for a bit as well. It seems to have got better now. I chalked it up to the downloading of apps and media that goes on in the background even after the initial update. It seemed so bad to begin with that my regular iPhone charger didn't seem to have the ump to charge the phone as it was sometimes draining power even though it registered as charging and connected to AC power. The second night after I updated, I charged it with an iPad charger instead of the iPhone one and it all seems back to normal. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or if it just finished all the background stuff it needed to do after the update.
