Dear Macvisionaries subscribers, I am in need of an iOS app that makes it possible to transfer text files from a Mac or from another operating system to an iOS device (e.g., an iPhone), then read them quickly later on. The text files need to be stored on the iPhone or iPad, not on a server somewhere.
For example, if I am about to travel, I can store flight and hotel information in a text file for quick retrieval, instead of having to scroll through my e-mail to find it. I found File App, which appears to do what I want, but the latest version is not accessible with VoiceOver under iOS. It claims to support ftp for file transfers, which would be excellent, but the "swipe to continue" screen displayed when the app starts presents difficulties. Suggested apps would be most welcome. The solution needs to enable file transfers from systems other than Mac OS, but it should also be accessible when transferring files from Mac OS. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
