Let me start by saying, apple stores are being restocked sooner than the carriers. The reason I know this, is all carrier stores said they will fill back orders first, and they might get more in the stores by mid october. If you check the apple store app, select your carrier, color, and size it will tell you what the ship time is, or if you can pick up in store. For the last 3 days I have been selecting all colors and sizes, at first it was just rose gold. But yesterday afternoon, all colors and sizes said pickup in store tomorrow. So I checked all morning when I got up, and when I got to apple store, just 45 minutes before it opened, I was the first one to check in. The crowd got larger by the minute, and I was afraid my reservation would get lost. But the apple store rep who made my reservation, saw the crowd growing, and at 5 minutes to 10, when they opened, he came got me and said. “Your first. and put me in the front of the line. Now that is the VIP treatment. So I got my phone, went to a early lunch, and my phone is restoring from a backup as we speak. Don’t like none of the cases in the apple store, so I grabbed an otter box from T-Mobile on my way home.
