I was surprised, too. I've been thinking about upgrading my fifth GEN for a long time. Almost bought one today, the prices at Best Buy are great, you can get 64 gig for $300. But instead, I think I'm going to pay off my iPhone 7 when I get the next iPhone, and keep it as my music device. That gives me the advantage of having the faster processor, the additional storage, And The new chip. That'll give me a much nicer device, with a much longer shelf life, for only a little bit more money. Cheers, Donna
