Chris,
does the mini disc unit you are using have a USB port?
By contrast does our mac have both line in and line out jacks, and the
mini disc have both ports?
I ask because I use mini disks regularly as a reporter and move content
back and forth for editing. I am not sure why your transfer would be
mono, forgive me if I am missing a step. Additionally, audacity might?
have a transfer option for you.
Again I am sorry if I am missing something critical here, but
personally
no technology that translates into income falls by the way side smiles.
Chuck our media organization might just take those units off your
hands...shame to waste perfectly functional equipment.
