Before the latest update to Safari in El Capitan, I was able to use shift and arrow keys to select text on a web page and copy it to the clipboard. This could be done on any text, not just that inside of edit boxes. After the upgrade, this almost never works. pressing the arrow keys doesn’t yield any speech from Voiceover. I started to ask this once before and all of a sudden it worked so I abandoned the question. But it was just that once. I haven’t been able to do it since. Can anyone tell me why and how to get around the problem?
