Hi Tim, Thanks for the help. Just in case anyone else is following this thread, here is what I finally did.
when reading Tim's message, I missed one important point, "on your Mac." lol So, I ended up continuing to fiddle with my phone. I finally figured out that you can access the Unlink option by selecting the linked contact and using the rotor. Unlink is one of the choices the rotor brings up.
