Grant,Thanks. Good idea on the 1Password (have started storing similar information there too). But your tip about Keychain was very clear and now I understand it. So will do the job this weekend.

If you encrypt your Time Machine drive, you can store the password in 1Password for your own reference. However, 1Password won’t be able to unlock the drive for you. That’s not really a huge deal though because you can store the password in the Mac’s keychain.
