There might be some items in activity monitor though I don't know if they get populated even if activity monitor is closed and most likely the display is graphical.
On the command line you could use netstat -i but that gives you numbers since booting. You could keep terminal up and then run a version of net stat that updates every hour… net stat -i 3600 The 3600 would be the number of seconds in an hour. Good luck!
