Re the playlist, Probably your best bet is going to be to show the sidebar, then make sure you're showing your music library. Set your view in the sidebar to songs, not to albums.
Then, create a new playlist, unless you already have one to use. You'll probably have to then go back to your library if you create a playlist, as after it's created, you'll most likely be inside the empty playlist. Anyway, again, make sure you're in song view. Now, go down to the table of songs, and interact. Next, press command+A to select all. Then, VO+Shift+M, then go to add to playlist, and finally under that sub menu, locate the playlist of your choice and vo+Space on it. there ya go! All your music now is in that one playlist. As for the poster who wanted to download their whole library all in one shebang, same exact steps as above. The only difference is, after hitting VO+Shift+M, in the menu, you want to locate, and VO+Space on download. That should do the trick.
