Yes, if you paste the web site where the MP3 is located. But no if you copy
from the MP3 file it will open up in the default music player.

Does somebody know if it is possible to download an mp3 file wih Safari by
just pasting the Mp3's URL in the address bar ? Currently, when I do this,
Quicktime starts playing the file and I can not download it to my hard
drive.
