I would prefer a full touchscreen. However, Apple does not have one yet. So, I would prefer an iPad Pro, Mac, combo unit. Apple does not have that yet either. My current Mac is a MacBook Air 11" 2011. It is getting old. It only has 2 GB RAM as that was the maximum available at the time. Likewise, it only has 128 GB internal storage. My new iPhone 7 (the plus was unavailable) has 256 GB storage.
The world is going touchscreen. Apple continues its commitment to accessibility. Eventually, the world will go to air gestures. Legal blindness is 0.5% of the population. This means, we must adapt to general market tech and innovations, whenever possible. We do not have the numbers to make the market adapt to us. Therefore, I go to the latest, not last years tech, whenever possible. This way, I stay ahead / in the curve, as much as possible, and therefore, remain relavent.
