Hi, so the wait you experience is the initial boot, I forget whether you’re SSD 
or mechanical drive based but Mechanical drives take minutes to  boot where SSD 
takes seconds.

Another thing, I’ve noticed being in full screen mode may cause problems.  If 
you have a zoom button to the left of the tool bar click that and then tab over 
until you tab in to the window and you should be able to use your keyboard.  
Maybe others know a more simple method.
