Scott,Ok here is what I think would be worth studying. I was just in my VM and my frustration level is still a bit high so will not run it again for now.
Seems Command-G was on the menu when I first started using VMware. Its no longer there yet it seems to still work. I want to play with this a lot more though and confirm some suspicions. Its supposed to grab the heyboard away from the Mac.
This may not work any more as lately I have found just pressing a wrong key or too long throws things around and I have trouble getting focused on the VM again.
So perhaps Command-G really is not used any more. When I run the VM in full screen I am not interested in switching between Mac and Windows. Yet I want access to the menu bar. I have disabled the VM toolbar and mini bar. I think I have conflicts here though by inadvertently pressing Mac keystrokes.
