Hi listers:

Just experimenting with Mac OS Sierra, and had a couple questions.

I wonder if there have been any major changes in VoiceOver since Mavericks.

Also, I am playing around with a virtual machine I downloaded.

I upgraded it to Sierra, then, went into the recovery console, and re
downloaded, hoping this would overwrite any hacked code that might have been in
the original download.

Nonetheless, I’m not taking any chances. No electronic banking, and, no credit
cards are going to be entered here.

Actually, it works remarkably well, for running in a VM under Windows. Alex is
surprisingly still responsive.

One thing I am noticing is the speech preferences gives me a choice of Alex
compact or just plain Alex. Honestly, I can’t tell the difference. Is there
any difference?

Anyway, I’m hoping to get some kind of used Mac to use, so I will be running
certified hardware, eventually.

However, I just wanted to say hello.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
