Hi,

If you can find an Airport Express, it should do the trick. It supports
AirPlay, and can send audio to your system either via a 3.5 mm audio jack, or
you can use that same 3.5 mm audio jack to send digital audio to the sound
system. Other than that, you may need to get quite creative with your setup if
your turntable has a magnetic cartridge. The rest are primarily good old
analog RCA connections.

Hi there folks,

I am building an audio system for my living room, and am looking for a way to
use air play besides an Apple TV.

I'm one of those crazy people that prefer to build a system piece by piece.
Thus, purchasing a prebuilt "Hi-fi" with a built-in docking station is out of
the question. Some of the components I require, is not available in prebuilt
modern hi-fi Systems anyway. (turntable, tape deck, real to real, 8 track, etc.)

Warm regards,

Brandt Steenkamp
