Hi all,

For the first time in a long time, I am trying to give Pages on my Mac a go.
I've found Pages on my phone to be quite useable, but I have to say that on the
Mac, it looks like about the lousiest, most unintuitive word processor I've
ever seen. So, I'm hoping that someone here can provide some basic info.

1. How do I enter text into my document? I opened a new document, chose the
blank template. I have interacted with everything, but find myself absolutely
unable to type a single word into my document. How do I do this? If anyone
from Apple is listening, the very fact that I have to ask this question about a
word processing app, does not speak well for Pages.

2. There's so much crap on the screen! Is there any way to declutter?

3. There are a couple of unlabeled buttons in the scroll area. What are they?
4. The Pages documents I've created on my iPhone seem to be saved in some
place called Webdav. What on earth is that, and how do I change it so that my
documents are saved in iCloud?

Thanks in advance. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best,
Donna
