I don’t think development has changed. OS X has evolved a lot since the leopard days I started working with it. There are major upgrades, especially under the hood and with collaboration among other things. Performance is steadily improving and the laptops are clearly being developed. The days of the desk top may be over but everyone is mobile now. I think the days of the computer in some form are with us for a while yet.
