anyone noticedthat alt+f4 no longer works with fusion 3 and sl. If I try it
twice, it brings up sound preferences in system preferences when all I
wanted to do was close my windows app.

Had a look at settings in vmware but couldn't find anything.

Hi Paul.

When you are in a virtual machine in Fusion, the option key is your alt key,
and the command key is your windows key. So therefore, you just have to
press option tab to make a alt tab in your virtual windows, and command tab
to switch over to your Mac applications. Awesome, isn't it?

Regarding the applications key, you can use a little freeware program called
Sharp keys to remap a key to the applications key, and you can also remap a
insert key. I have remapped my right option key to the insert key, and my
right command key to the applications key.

I highly recommend you to switch to full screen when running a virtual
machine. You can do that by pressing control command return or you can
choose it from the toolbar. Voiceover doesn't need to be turned off when
running a virtual machine. I have used both Fusion and other applications
on my mac at the same time.
Best regards
Søren Jensen
